oh snap.....

For your line, GQ style might be better. My Fresh-off-of-school workplace was damn strict. People were warned if they wear those "funny" ties on Aprl Fools day. I think I only have blk. navy, blk w/ stripe, navy with stripe type of suits. I do have gray pants similar to yours, but no sport coat.

Heck, Now i wear what I want. I work at home.

Hahaha no- there's a reason I never wear traditional suits.

I'm a musician for a reason.

But I was in London that day for a session, and had a meeting with a few big wigs from Sony, so I couldn't show up in jeans and a tank.

I was in mid-high end automotive sales (car sales) during my school years. Those guys were also really strict on wearing suits, cuff links, and 6 ways to tie a neck ties.

Speaking of suits, I am thinking of buying one off of George Zimmer's new company when it opens. If you remember, he got kicked out of his own company (Men's Warehouse) few yrs back.

As far as what I'm contracted for (film scores/commercial jingles)- it can be any style. I've been playing piano and guitar for over 20 years (started when I was 5) so whenever I'm given an assignment or sheet music to track for my client- I'm comfortable sight reading no matter the style.

When it comes to producing for various artists on the UMG (universal music group) catalog- I feel more comfortable writing rock/pop rock.

So, to take the attention off of the one looking for it for just a bit...

Where can I listen to some of your work?

I write most under a stage name.

I'm an introvert, despite my trolling moments at times on this forum. (I neglect other forms of social media)

However- a few other producers and I are recording a demo under the working project "the sugar skulls" which I will put my name to it, so when those demos are released, I'll post a link here on OT

Yeah, most of what pays me (and pays well) I'm not particularly proud of that's why as an artist, I don't associate my name to it. But it's what sells.

A lot of the contracts have proprietary information too, since most artists claim to "write their own music" but I can assure you- they don't. It's people like myself who take the money but don't want the fame who do.

Some song writers are totally opposite though. But I'm ok with a modest living as long as I get paid.

The project (the sugar skulls) would be my first real crack as an "artist" - so hopefully it goes well! Then you all can say "that dude used to troll the bimmerpost forums"

As long as it's not Justin Bieber, I think we can forgive.

Unless... Please, no...

For one, it looks odd, and can also restrict your movement being a fitted suit. Also, when standing the jacket should be buttoned and then unbuttoned when sitting. So when getting up from a seat, it is less cumbersome to only fasten the one button.

This is correct. For suits with 2 buttons, only the top should be buttoned. For suits with 3, the top 2 should be buttoned. The jacket should be unbuttoned when sitting and buttoned when standing.
