It is a very large watch for sure, but I am 6 ft 4 so that's ok.

I think this is an interesting study on what could be done in the "smart watch" space. Mechanical movement with targeted "smarts". Make the computerized stuff more of a type of complication, rather than the whole deal. Something you cannot do mechanically. Still prefer the classics, but if smart watches want to make a serious entry into haute horologerie, then they're going to need to think of a way to keep beautiful and intricate mechanical movements a part of the equation.

Took a while at the jeweler to get this watch running without issue, but happy to be able to wear it finally.

1971 Seiko Chronograph (6139-6005). Was my Grandfather's, then my uncle wore it, then my Dad. Has some scars but I love wearing it. Not bad for 45 years of wear. Just replaced the bracelet today.

That is awesome. it's cool that it's been kept in the family. I have a Seiko that is 20 years old passed down from my uncle, but he became very skinny with his illness and removed the links to fit his small wrists and I don't know where the links went, so unfortunately I can't wear it.
