That one actually looks pretty good and seems to fit the test mules dimensions pretty well.

Haha, exactly. If Toyota were partnering with Porsche, Lotus, Mazda or someone similar, I'd be more optimistic than BMW.

And it smoked it in every way.

None give a shit the Gtr is heavy, seems you all just have issues with slow overweight bmw's.

Thank god they didnt with any of those, well nothing against mazda. i think Toyota already owns a chunk them.

That's cause Toyota didn't partner with BMW, BMW partnered with Toyota.

Meh, maybe it's because I was firmly in the FD RX7 camp, but I just prefer lighter cars, and also recall Corvettes having better 1/4 mile and track performances, at least to stock MkIVs.

And there are plenty of us that hold the GTR weight against it.

Probably the best pic so far to gauge the size and proportions. Loving the size!

Just for a point of reference... my Supra weighs 3415lbs with a full tank of gas. It is a hardtop turbo, so slightly lighter than the typical targa cars. It's also wingless.... so maybe another 10lbs?

The weight distribution was 52/48.

Looks good.

Looks more accurate based on the proportions of the camo car.

Lighter is good, when its actually provides better performance. Supra out handled the RX7 and out accelerated the vett in US car mag comparisons iv seen. no shame, they were beaten by the best.

Without that weight the GTR would have not achieved such acceleration and thus the popularity and especially the quite fun to spectate pissing contest between it and the 911.

Z4, 3 series, and Supra all spotted together

Quote:
The new Toyota Supra: What’s the deal? Where is it? We’ve seen that camo’d mule running around now since people could still tolerate Taylor Swift, and yet no concept or production car has surfaced. All speculation about its future aside, we know where it’s been lately: chilling in Italy with some BMWs.

Hey, can you blame it here? Summer’s pretty much over. It’s trying to catch one last break with its friends before it has to show up at an auto show and eventually dealer lots. (If it ever does! Who the hell knows.)

Photographer Lucas Scarfone captured a few shots of the new car at the Grand Hotel in Arenzano, along with one camo’d up sedan that I am guessing is the next 3 Series and two roadsters destined to be the next Z4. Here’s hoping that ends up looking as good as the concept did.

Hope you and your friends had a nice time, Supra. See you in America soon?

^I'm not really a fan of the front design of the car, but the zagato roof is awesome!

Yeah I don't like the front end either. It will not age well and looks like a car with a body kit made for F&F 9

More like a moronic pricing scheme.

65k base would be insane. FRS tops out at 35k with all TRD ad ons.

WTF are they planing to slot something in between that.
