Looks like a half breed between the PSS and the Cup2. This should be a better tire than the PSS's, based on what I have read/seen from a technical aspect. They've used a lot of the Cup2's tech in this tire, which is now a gap filler between the PSS and Cup2. To me, this is a broad move for Michelin, in our favour!

And then Matt says in his article little difference between MPSS and MPS4S and he's actually driven on them, so I really don't see where you and others are making this "leap of faith" nsupported facts. There is a reason why people start running in mall, everyone starts running in mass hysteria thinking there is a shooter, when most often there is not. I'm just a hard data, show me person. |

The basic tread layout was immediately noticeable just from images as I use the Cup2's already (which has the familiar tread sipes and belt tech and tread layout), and have the PSS's on my daily wheels. I've run the Cup2's for only 5k kms on Mountain Tours, but can tell you the performance gap is quite large from the PSS once they're warmed up. The new PS4S seems to have bridged the gap and offered something in between, for the price of a PSS. Will you still require a track dedicated tire for top levels of grip? Yes.. It's not about watching youtube reviews or forum feedback, really.. It's about my personal experience with over $10k in Michelin tires in the past few years. Also, working for Canada's largest tire retailer, I get some inside feedback well before the video's that release to the ROW.. Here's the Cup2 ![]() Here's the new PS4S ![]() You can see the relation, it's quite clear. D

Do you know of a conti sc6 distributor In the us northeast or who sells online? You've been raving and raving about these ad nauseum on this thread but never once have I seen you constructively provide a lead on an avenue to get the product you cannot stop raving about. How about you be a help and instead of saying things like "well tire racks not the only one with them" when others state a concern that they're only seeing 3 sizes--does absolutely nothing to provide value to this forum. If you have provided this and I missed it, my sincere apologies. Good day sir.

As to some other issues you have, Guess you missed post 159 and 204. BTW, why go on and on in this thread about 295/35/19 Michelins, post a classified specific for MPSS just broken in and then go radio silent when someone tries to sell you MPSS BMW * 295/35/19 with 8/32 treads and just under 2k miles? http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1346596 Last edited by Kabrich; 01-27-2017 at 07:18 PM.. |

Can you give a quote on 265/35/19 - 285/35/19 set and also a 275/35/19 and 295/35/19 set? No issues - just can't read a 20+ page thread in one sitting.

So, lets get this right. I post an ad for an OEM size break-in mileage or less F80 take off set of rubber, which you PM me about. NOT 295 Michelins - don't know where that came from - anyone reading this can click your link and see that clear as day. Your PM is offering a 2k mile set, neither of which are OEM spec sizing. You send me a PM, stalk the fuck out of my activity, apparently, to determine that I've been "active two times" in the 17 hours, including an overnight, since you sent the PM, and then smugly post this commentary on my ad:
And, I did indeed reply when I noticed both your PM and your posting, even apologizing for not meeting your response time standards ![]() Ask anyone who I've dealt with on the forums or met in the community and they'll tell you I'm a stand up guy. I don't know your agenda or grudge but it's coming off as increasingly immature and, frankly, desperate for attention, which I shouldn't give. This intensity with which you're coming on this high Continental-shod horse is almost unbelievable - like, meaning I can't believe someone would dedicate the time you have to this posting. Anyway, to address the comment that actually led me here. Post #159 provides well referenced and hopefully unbiased reviews - I haven't had time yet to look at each of the sources. Well done - that's how you contribute to a forum positively. Post #204 says
As a response to an inquiry for 245/265 sizes. I then ask here for a quote on two sets of rubber, both exhibiting a +20 cross-sectional delta, and get imparted with your most recent wisdom. To boot, you don't even give a quote. I'm extricating myself from further dialogue with you - it's just not worth the price of admission man, because ![]()

I'm not complaining and it's not about having to work to get tires. I'm not some 20 something spoiled kid. The point is that the SC6 is more predominant overseas from what I can see. Yes I use online resources to find things like tires and last time I checked on these tires, the places all seemed to be overseas. I don't even need tires right now so I'm not about to start calling every dealer in a hundred miles trying to track down these magic tires. My questions to you were simply asking if I was missing something since these seem to be mostly sold overseas from a bit of googling. If you don't have a solid answer besides "I have a dealer" then just say that. You on the other hand sound like you own Continental - defending these tires like they are some holy grail of automotive technology. Who cares if they stop .6 meters or whatever shorter than another? This is a street tire and technology will keep improving like it always has and Michelin, Continental, and others will keep making these incrementally better, swapping places on the "award" for best street tire. |

And if you don't think 255/35/19 is OEM front size, I really don't know what to tell you. And this is why I don't help most people more. Total lack of Gratitude. My feedback on from personal buyers on sales via iTrader and EBay speak for themselves. Why didn't I get Price for you? Because like the other guy, and your follow up to your classified ad, I figured you are nothing more than a window shopper based on first hand experience of your actions. Good luck with your search as I won't be helping you....but then again, you won't be buying. |

Damnit man, maybe share where you ordered from if you're such a proponent of this tire. What use is this man-behind-the-curtain play of yours? Is this an amateur hour tire scavenger hunt? ![]()

Neither the 265/35 or 295/35 is oem for an F80 in 19". I learned something new today. *You said in pm you made a mistake on the size, but never clarified which one was a mistake, or both as neither are what I was requesting. If you must know, I run two sets of wheels and different tire sized on both. Sorry that's not acceptable for you. At this moment I'm looking to replace an oem sized set. Get a script man.*
