What do you guys think about bitcoin investing? Based on recent reports, bitcoin went from $1000 in January $18000 now. I'm buying GBTC ETF which is 1/10th of a bitcoin. Based on a relatively modest investment and assuming what analysts have been saying it could be easy to make several million dollars in just a few months!

This is the easiest/quickest way to make millions of $$. If you never invest, you'll never become a baller, so jump in.

here is the best piece of advice you will probably hear- if you've already heard about it on the news and everyone has already hopped in, you are late for the big bucks or are in the middle of a pump and dump.

I think it's better late than never, if you think it's going to drop you will never get into it and then it will rally again and you won't get in it at that time because you're always afraid to jump in and take the risk.

You should try to time it so that you can jump out of bitcoin and into tulip bulbs just at the right moment.

No need to time it for anything, I buy and hold. I've had 45% return on investment since jumping into the market 2 years ago. Looking to do even better with bitcoin! Worst case scenario if the whole market crashes I'll buy gold and make money during a recession while everyone else is losing money.

it's good there are naive people like that in the market, someone has to take in the loses so others can gain

It's been pretty damn easy to make money over the last nine years when we've had double digit equity gains for seven of them.

Yes, it's that easy. If I started getting paranoid I could cash out now and keep all the money I've made but I think I'll stay. It's as easy as Mark Z, Tim Cook, and the guy who runs Amazon. Buy and hold one stock, sell a few shares from time to time, etc.

I bought some iota at 1.50 last week before it blew up. I have since bought more since the hype and am sitting on 60%+ profit. I literally couldn't put money in my coinbase account fast enough
