A few weeks ago I poured Drano down my shower drain because it was clogged, and now randomly my bathroom (and therefore the apartment) smells like sewage. I confess I should've called the maintenance instead of pulling the macho "ah i got this" because clearly, i hadn't got this

please help

Go by the hardware store and pick up some industrial strength drain cleaner such as liquid fire.

It will smell afterward....but not like sewage. It takes about a day for the smell to dissipate.

They use it at work in the public showers.
