I've been a J Lohr fan for years. Great bottle at great price for in between the stupid bottles (Cakebread, Camus, Groth). I will say though I've had to look elsewhere. The 2015 Lohr is terrible, as is the 2015 Camus. I find myself searching the shelves for anything 2013. Just tried two new ones; Mira and Maddalena Cabs which are pretty good for the price point.

Anything from $19.95-$300 a bottle-I am not that picky. The wide range demonstrates my flexibility, much of it gained from gymnastics and watching CNN.

HaHA, I would perhaps share a bottle of that stuff with you and then offer a chardonnay from my supply that you might like even better. Then, we could get amped up and write idiotic responses to some of the trumptards.

Tried the Coppola Chardonnay this weekend. Not that great, especially at $18.99/bottle (though I got it at 1/2 price).
Went back to the Aldi, was very happy.

My wife really likes the "award winning" Aldi Rose.
She typically likes Rose that is at least $14/bottle.

Had a bottle of Realm's The Bard (2013) that I have been saving for our anniversary dinner. Great wine that we enjoyed, but could have used a few more years. Can't store everything forever...

Orin Swift's 2017 Eight Years in the Desert is really good. We buy every bottle when we find it.

The 2013 D'Angelo Aglianico del Vulture is one of my current favorites. Most of my friends and family hate it, but the ones with good taste love it. It's very earthy and dry.

Was it good?
It was excellent. I expect it will be even better in 5+ years though.
