I'm not so sure about that ....

Mate . It isn't the track . It "IS" the force !

As drivers like MAX and 7HAM are saying that the Ferrari pace is really strong .
Than I'm pretty sure , the force comes from under the Ferrari PU cover ...

I'm really amazed by the fact : Where was Ferrari last year and where are they now ..

Anyway , great job by Ferrari !

PS : By this new situation , 7HAM has found a new investigation project !

Hopefully It's true ! LMFAO

On a serious note : This can switch the situation of the top-2 key-players !
And certainly on tracks with longer straights ..
This season isn't over yet !

And I'm pretty sure HAM will 5H1T in his race suit !

They didn't defeat a test, they passed the FIA test. This is F1; if it isn't explicitly outlawed, it's legal. It's ALWAYS been that way, and always will be that way.

With all due respect, you are a massive Hamilton and Merc fan, and I think it's pretty impossible for you to look at this without seeing things through HAM tinted glasses. I do enjoy reading your posts though, and I can understand the points you're making.

I saw your argument that RBs wing was congruent with VWs emissions scandal. My counterpoint to that is this: RB doesn't have to do a single thing to their car to get it to meet the FIAs wing tests. VW DID have to alter their car to get it to pass the emissions tests. Big difference.

Also I have no horse in this race, so I couldn't care less what the FIA decides to do here.

Until FERRARI get into the hunt I don't have a horse in the race. But I do have bias as everyone knows MB is my least favorite team. I like your VW argument, kinda my point all along.

Do vs. Don't
Active vs. Passive
Intent vs. No Intent

Basically it's impossible to compare F1 issues to anything but F1. Anyone can spin an argument to support their beliefs. Or BEND them if you will

I'm a bigger fan of the truth. HAM and Merc are temporal. I sincerely believe in the rule of law and following the rules in almost all cases.

I've been watching F1 for about 45 years. I see innovation as things like the following: The Lotus 88 dual chassis car. The Brabham Fan Car. DAS. Blown Diffusers. FRIC. The F-Duct. The Renault Mass Damper.

Cheats have been: The McLaren 3rd brake pedal. The Bennetton Fuel Flow defeat trick. Bennetton Traction control. Ferrari Fuel Trick. Red Bull Flexible Wings, Version One (DQ'd in a race in 2014 or 2015.) Current Red Bull Flexible Wing, Version Two.

Edit: You're incorrect on what RB had to do to defeat the test. I will find the post on the necessary things the had to consider in preparing the CF to behave in this manner.

The FIAs position on the flexible wing cheat:
"We believe that such deformations can have a significant influence on the car’s aerodynamic performance, and hence could be deemed to contravene the provisions of Article 3.8 (Aerodynamic Influence), which requires all components influencing the car’s aerodynamic performance to be ‘rigidly secured to the entirely sprung part of the car’ and to ‘remain immobile in relation to the sprung part of the car.’"

Any car that is deemed to have been using such components at a race can be excluded from the results of an FIA sanctioned race by the stewards irrespective of any load/deflection tests current or future.
If any team protests the Baku race results, based on rear view camera footage that shows the same level of flexibility seen at the Spanish race, it is highly likely to be upheld.

yes.. with the current state of the regulation, this means its up to stewards interpretation and cars can be DQ'd.. FIA says, fix your wing before we do something less or more.. sounds fair for now..

Is the part I highlighted from the FIA or did you just make that up? Not being facetious, honest question
