The drivers seem to like it. Because of all the high speed corners.
But indeed the beginning (save the start) was very boring.

But we've come to a point that overtaking has become very difficult. Cars are within the current ruleset so much aerodynamically optimized that they can't follow eachother within 1-1,5sec without things overheating and getting unstable, and shortening a lot of DRS areas doesn't make that easier.
Maybe the 2026 rules without DRS but a numbered of short electrical overboosts may change this. Who knows, difficult to predict what's gonna happen in 2026.

Wasn’t sure what to expect after last year’s race with the mandatory 3 stop taking all strategy out of it.
And boy did it deliver! What a race and what a drive by Max! Taking what was the 4th fastest car or maybe even 5th fastest car in the sprint to take pole in quali was nothing short of the Max factor. I think Rus made a huge mistake getting Max mad like that as it only fueled his fire to win. Whatever RB did to that car really paid off. The car looked more balanced than the McLaren, had great pace, and it was incredible on the tires.
I think if this is a sign of things to come, it’s going to be an interesting 2025 as RB is going to get substantially more testing time whereas McLaren and Ferrari will get substantially less, and while those two cars might be at the top of their dev curve, with RB they have a good amount more to add. I still wonder if we have seen the RB flexi front wing yet…?

That's the one, being re-built and it's worth waiting till about 8.30 PM going into the roundabout to catch the M25 East, had no problem with traffic then.

Sparks would fly that being a dead cert, George is the GPDA director and has a more 'no nonsense' stance around him. He let fly at his team on the radio when he was lumbered with hards again and he sure as F* let them know about it and as if karma for MAX was given a time penalty which I'm sure made him extra livid.

This track is trash, if not for the debris causing chaos, the race would have been a snooze fest. The only overtaking opportunity is at turn one and the only thing they can do about it is increase the DRS length. As there’s only one straight, the teams are running to ouch downforce to make DRS effective. They need to admit this is a boring track and redesign it, at least Abu Dhabi finally gave in and tried to do something after drivers and fans kept complaining about its layout.

Lots of drama today. That was a very entertaining race in the end. Lots of exciting moves in the midfield that were fun to watch. I am going to miss KMag. That’s where the battle is on 6-8. Great drive from Gasly. Also very happy for Zhou and an end to Kick’s “pointless” season.

Apparently Doohan will replace Ocon for the last race. I reckon he’s the in the same mental space as Lewis.

Some very harsh penalties. Especially Lando. Max did a classic George there (fair play to him). So much for British bias.

The mirror incident was very badly handled.
