We're having a big Salsa-Latin party tonight, but(15:30 CET) the first bottles of Heineken are already gone with my brother in law, me and this! We were at this concert in Rotterdam already 20 years ago almost!

Im listening to a cd made by a band my friends kid plays in. They are playing their big depute in a few days and I truly hope this recording is old. And by now theyve learned how to play, or how to make lyrics, but for a family friend, I'm sending the kids to grandparents and we adults (basically everyone I know) are going to go and watch the disaster live.

Sometimes you meet someone perfect. Most of the times those encounters end well but even if you've been the one who walked away, the absolute hit of an ending makes you vulnerable for a while. This song has been playing in my mind for a month now. Again.

What Anglo, you weren't young once?
My life is fine, also my marriage is pretty damn fine considering the last five years.  But that song has the way to crawl in to me. Everyone has had that relationship but I was driving today and that came on in the radio. Instead of it hurting, it was funny. Laughing at your past is funny, or at least it is when you're over it. But I still know why she made the song. Even when it hurts, feeling is worth it.

No, that has been one of my favorite songs since I was five. I didn't even understand what she sang about then but later on I got it. It takes an effort to look back and realize what you did wrong. In my current life I try to rember why all the misery was worth it. But it feels good to listen to that song and smile, even if years have passed since those feelings were acute.
