TEASER:

Here is how the car will look like after its wrap.

Storm trooper white with carbon fiber.

The front grill, under body, roof, sider mirros, and wing will be that carbon fiber. The car will be white.

What you guys think?

STORY:

Got to Austin around 3pm due to flight delayed. Rented a car and drove to San Marcos of Honda, got there at 4:15ish. As I entered the lot, there were two sales guys outside just sitting as there seem to be no customers at all. Made arrangements to be at the dealership around 3-4ish so I assume they were expecting me. As me and my friends got out the car, the sales people outside and inside kept looking at us. Have you ever felt the vibe of just being hated? That was the vibe we all were getting. We walked up to one of the sales guys on the outside and he looked at us and said how can I help you guys. I reply with a Oh I'm here to pick up my GTR. As soon as he heard that he walked away and didn't say anything. We followed him inside, as soon as we walked inside EVERYONE in the dealership stopped what they were doing and all eyes on us. We stood there looking like damn... feeling all the negative vibe. A few moments later Ian walks up and asked "Who won the eBay auction?" I replied me and he greeted me and introduced himself. He advised he was about to leave but he had to meet me. He took us to see the car as they said they had to pull it out and put it in the back. Before we went to the car Ian took us to his computer to show me his wallpaper. His wallpaper is

Anyways he took us to the car and he asked for a picture. I took a picture of him shaking his hand. He advised me that the producers of Fast and Furious called and asked him to be the next bad guy. Congrats to Ian. Anyways we inspected the car and there were some cosmetic issues such as curb rash, side skirt being scratched up. The only thing that we found wrong is that the timing belt is worn off, the brakes are at about 80%. So once I get to LA I will go ahead and replace the belt, transmission oil, oil change, tire rotation, etc. I will get the car fully inspected by a good dealer. Car runs fine. I tested the launch control and it was strong.

Anyways after we inspected the car, we went back in to fill out paperwork. I gave them the check, we went over the agreement and they handed me the title and key. Too bad there was only one key... They said if the other key comes up they will ship it to me but I doubt it.

Anyways that is the story as I can't go into the details of the agreement.

alright the car wrap place wont be done until around 2 so basically i'll stick around until then. I wont have time to go eat or hang out after that as I made plans to leave at 4 pm asap. So if you guys want to meet up at the car wrap place let me know.

I would strongly advise that you remove your phone number ASAP - there are some fucked up people out there and you're somewhat of an "interwebz celebrity" so you can do the math. Just ask for people to PM you.

Glad everything worked out and post pics when the wrap is done. LOL at his wallpaper and good to hear there was no drama involved with the exchange.

great job in getting the car. Now due to the negative nature you felt when you reached the dealership, I wouldn't be surprised if every sales rep took the car for nice "SPIN" around the block and drove it HARD.
