There are tons of great cars out there to be sure, but there is something special about what Porsche engineers do. I am sometimes tempted to go to a newer one but I still can't walk away from my Bug without looking back.

The flow of traffic down here is basically 80-90mph.

Usually it's some POS Sentra, Elantra, Kia, Altima, etc. that I'll see weaving in/out at 100+. You can see the car swaying since the suspension isn't set up for that kind of change up. Amazes me every time.

I had a 2006 Cayman S and it remains the purest car I have ever owned. I personally like the balance of a mid-engine.
