Control is about making people change while being wilfully/unknowingly ignorant of other people's needs and desires..and indeed profiting from forcing this. I can see the pleasure some of these gang may gain by watching the guy who used to comfortably drive to work being forced to walk/cycle etc in the rain or snow as car ownership becomes less affordable/less practical with ev and gloating in their satisfaction of having contributed to saving the world. If the educated wise looking old guy in his 80s I met had no insight what hope does the average Joe or the kids of today have. PS. On reflection.. Not an isolated incident 3 years ago around the time i got my X5 Couple across the street in their 70's. Chat was about their lovely tan from their 21 day cruise etc then it went into Australian wildfires then into climate change and then how diesel and petrol cars were polluting the world etc... I kind if felt they were guilt tripping me about my new car but again I just grin and bear it. |

Sometimes I wonder if those fools were on the breadline and had to do 12 hour shifts 6 days a week to make ends meet their priorities might be different.

Climate change is the new religion of the left.
Fun Fact: During the Ordovician period CO2 was about 8 times preindustrial, about 2,400ppm. The Ordovician featured a Biodiversification period, an ice age and a mass extinction event. |

Somehow I doubt the new mantra of the Climate Zombies will be "Save the planet, eat a dog"

Neither "Stop cargo ships from burning bunker oil", you know, free shipping from aliexpress is too tempting
Sarcasm aside, ships burning that molasses are terrible if compared to cars, but global economy (EDIT so our lifestyle, industry etc, the impact of an increase in moving basically everything across oceans would be huge) relies too much on low shipping rates, so as usual who will be doomed? The normal citizen "Yeah add this new GPF/DPF that only turns the particles too thin to be seen from our pollution control equipment, more labor, more maintenance, more diseases, eco friendly tag... you're ready to go" Last edited by PhaceN52; 07-18-2023 at 09:12 AM.. |

In one of these EV threads I asked H2Odoc a few months ago how his climate repair model will reverse plate tectonics. Not received an answer yet. Maybe they forgot about how it affects the climate... |

"The best scientific information available projects a 15- to 30-foot rise in sea level by 2100 if current trends continue" What I read: "The best scientific information we funded and directed output on projects a 15- to 30-foot rise in sea level by 2100 if current trends continue" This is why so many of them paid $5000 a sf to live oceanfront. Clapping seals gonna clap.

Stop press! Greta Thunberg has been run over by an EV, so quiet she never heard but..Just kidding!
Seriously though how many kids are getting hit by EV's because they are so quiet, I brought this up way back in the thread but someone like BGP (I think) just laughed it off. It's another thing the greenies want to sweep under the carpet hoping no one notices. |

German climate protester gets drug by her hair to the curb. Crawls back to block traffic. German woman grabs her purple hair again and drags her to back to the curb.
Sure glad she didn't have her hands glued to mother earth. Might of been bald today.

Did you ever notice how many climate activist dye their hair pink, purple etc. Made me wonder what's in hair dye and low and behold it is made with petroleum products.

$48k average price is a fact. $34k price for a base Model 3 after federal tax rebate is a fact. Neither of these facts imply an EV has price parity with an equal size/spec ICE. I stated the price gap between ICE/EV is getting smaller. For some reason you read this and think I am saying they are equal. The logic you are trying to use baffles me.

Only to those of us that look at the data and geologic history but to the Climate Zombies, facts wash off their backs like water off a ducks back.
