^^lol at the long bathroom. When I moved in my house, it was like this, less long tho.

What Im guessing, is the previous owner built the bath room in the corner of the basement, but used the floordrain that was in the middle of the basement. He was too lazy to break the concrete and do a proper drainage system, he just remove the drain grill and drop the toilet on it. It worked, but damn, it took a lot of necessary living space !

stupid him, he probably overpaid for tiles and gypsum anyway.

It looks functional actually: like there's a gap between the door and the frame (no need for the bolt otherwise

) and thus it can be locked from the inside (with the bolt on the inner side of the clamp).
