There is a time and place for things. You don't have to ride hard in the city but using a race rep on the track is where it was bred and meant to be. I find it amusing you are saying all this. You know as well as I do that you don't track your bike. Hell you don't even wear all your gear. Not surpsied you are in defence of the "buy a litre bike to cruise" crowd. Again it's each to their own, your money and you can do what you like but don't try and tell me that the chump on route to his local starbucks is going to fully utilize his sportbike. Lol what a joke. |

I clearly stated before, there is a time and place for things. You're clenching at straws.

Sweet Suzuki!
Many many years ago, the Gixxer was one of my first bikes. One of many inline 4's that I've owned. These days though, I'm hooked on V-twins, of the Italian type. |

Here are a few shots of the Diavel from my last two rides. Been taking the camera out in my tank bag and enjoying some photography during my Sunday rides the past couple of weeks!
These from 2 weeks ago on an overcast day ... And these from last weekend with a buddy of mine, found a neat spot for the bikes... Last edited by ddk632; 08-02-2012 at 05:02 PM.. Reason: Fixed image tags |

Just cleaned my bike, thought I'd share a few pics. Sweet V-twin sexiness. I installed Leo Vince pipes, Power Commander V with dyno tune, frame and wheel sliders, cleaned up the license plate mount, 14 tooth pinion (now I actually use 6th gear!) more to come.
By far THE funnest bike I've ever owned. Doing a track day at Infineon in a couple weeks. |

that's the furthest thing from general. you can't play the "generalize card" if you were specifically talking about that particular incident..... |

So my 2004 CBR got shipped from Germany to Vegas. That's like two months getting to Vegas and then it will be in Vegas for 2-3 months in the one hundred and hot as fuck heat. It is in a box with handlebar straps not too tight to pull the front end down too much. Think my forkseals will be blown when I get it out?

I know it's no monster like you guys have but I love how unique it is, although it is very slow. Check out my new ride, 2004 Aprilia RS50.
Bringing her home. At home in the garage with the e92.

Holy shit, that RS50 is beautiful. You can slay hairpins, decreasing radius, double apexes and you name it with that bike.
Back in the day I always wanted an Aprillia RS125, but they were sooo rare and hard to find. Fuck. |

I'm thinking about getting a bike as a DD. $100 a week on gas for the ///M is just ridiculous. If I were to get one, it'll be my first bike ever. I'm pretty comfortable with riding a bicycle, I learn fast and get used to the power of the anything with a motor fairly quickly. With that said, I don't want to get anything too small but also nothing too big (mainly because I want to really learn to ride and not be intimidated with all the power). Now I have a couple of bikes in mind and I was just wondering if all you expert riders out there could point me in the right direction.
1. Ducati Monster 696 2. Ducati 848 3. HD Iron 883 4. Yamaha R6 Please suggest any additional options for me to consider if you have one. Thanks for reading |
