What if Sara504 interviewed M Power Belgium? I think we should make it happen. We'll do a fundraiser, and everyone will chip in a few dollars. Then we'll donate the money to Sara and M Power's charity of choice.

The thread I created over at the f8x forum under pricing,tracking delivery- for all of us who have an ordered car on the Glovis Courage (name of the boat) headed for the west coast. We combined the updates for another ship (Virgo Leader) who just ported today as well. My ship, ports Friday- so our little "support group" is coming to an end as our cars are almost ready for drive off.

There's 2 m235i, 2 m3s, m4, m5 and my m6 all accounted for!

It's definitely a weird feeling.

It's hard to say "it sucks" because you know something good is on its way. But if you're lucky (on the west coast anyways-) the soonest you'll get it is in 6 weeks.

Then you can be a total crazy person like me- and do a fully special ordered M6 (frozen black paint, Opal white full merino leather, 6 speed manual transmission) and have it take 6 months from start of the approval process to finish.

I don't know how you do 6mo. I was going insane to wait for dealer allocation (dealer trade) from other state. It was only 4days. (non bmw)

Dealership- oh yeah, no worries! 3 months tops! There's no way it'll take 5-6 months!! (I responded ok, cause if so/ I don't want to do this- fuck me right?)

Middle of March- All M6s delayed until April.

April- ok! We can start the approval process of the individual order now -_- (I thought it was already done)

May- production starts! Done by may 20th! Ahead of schedule!! Woot woot!

Car then disappears for 2 weeks.

Mid June- oh look! It's at the port! Woo hoo

Late July- typing this. A week away. But I did get the m performance LED steering wheel and front black grills for free as a token of my dealerships appreciation. (2200 value) fair trade off?

Not a fair trade at this time right now, but when you receive your M6 w/ all that accessories, I would think it is more than fair trade.
