I think it helps if it's done in a matter-of-fact manner and then you go about your business, rather than lingering there hoping for something to happen. "I just wanted to say that I think your flat top is smashing," and then be on your merry way.

Depends on the person and your personal preference. I think I prefer you clean shaven, but beards are very rarely my thing (as epic as they are).

You need to have 2 shots, but only the beard is changing. Comparing your fuzzy face in casual clothes to your clean in a slick suit just isn't fair to the bearded look

OK, well smashing isn't really in my lingo, but that's exactly the way I want to do it.
I saw this beautiful Amazonian woman picking up her pizza last night. I so wanted to just take my empty beer glass back up to the counter, then say "God, but you are beautifully put together" as I walked out the door and got in my car (with the wife and kid)
