My Bestie from Halifax arrived this morning for the week-end now that the border is open. She stopped at the Serpent Brewing Pub in Spryfield for a few samplers. Will try those this evenings.

If I say Heineken overhere in the Netherlands is almost more common than water I'm not even exaggerating.

It's been the party/supermarket/football match/disco/bar beer overhere for ages.

And I drink it more than a lot(weekends), because it's easy to drink(a lot of) and pretty cheapo and does not contain 'sugar'.
But I prefer Hertog Jan or Jupiler when talking about loads of easy beers to drink in just a limited amount of time.

Amstel will do too and Birra Moretti is also a contender. I sometimes catch an IPA but I'm just a beerdrinker and thinking in quantities and not exactly quality

Cheers
Robin

I retrieved a post from 8 years ago lol.

I don't see them anymore unfortunately.

Alcohol is the Devil's Drink also in EU....

You have to be 18+ to buy alcohol. But this was '16' a couple of years ago.

Does that change the consumption of alcohol/behaviour in that particular consumer group? NO....

First drank this beer with my dad. They stopped importing it at least to my area for years. Happen to be at the beer Depot a few days ago and now they are re-importing it.

I am about two hours from the brewery. I really really really tried to get into Yuengling. There's just something about it. In honor of this thread I will try again.

100 beers

I am old and have tried at least 100 or more beers in my life. I don't hate that many and can drink about anything if drinking one brew. But if its a drinking outing with expected extended hours I like a cold light beer. Coors and blue moon are the choice.

That's suppose to be coming to Texas soon. Good stuff.

My all time fav has shifted from Paulener Octoberfest to Cannoneer Amber. Damn fine beer, if a little strong.
