Yeah. I had the Storm originally (back when you had a BB) then I got the Bold 9650. The 4S is nice, but I do miss the keyboard already. Gonna take some getting used to. Especially because I text a lot.

On the other hand, Siri is absolutely amazing. My friend text me as I was driving up to Verizon so they could transfer my contacts. I used Siri to text back. It not 100% safe but much safer than texting and driving. I love it already.

I ending up buying the ATT 64gig unlocked at apple store at full retail before I realized that you can't get pay as you go with ATT on the iphone. Thanks apple store employee for not telling me this.

Works fine with wireless, I guess I could use it as a expensive ipod lol or get a tmobile sim or return it. I dislike contracts so I will still probably go with the samsung G2S on tmobile which has impressive 4G speeds and is way cheaper monthly than the competition and has a nice 4.5" screen.

I still think the screen size is too small for surfing, siri as others said is amazing. I think I have 30 days to play around with it but the apple person said 14 days?

You were willing to pay full retail in order to pay as you go just because you don't like contracts?
Nothing wrong with making a stand for what you believe in.
You just have to pay for it.

I don't understand this logic....

But whatever works for you

Apple store will take returns up to 14 days after purchase.

ATT I think is 30 days. Best to call and double check,
And don't call the store, call corporate.

Checked receipt it said you have 30 days to return.

Well it's unlocked and works on tmobile no problem but I guess you can only get 2G speed.

The reason you pay less with a contract up front is that you usually pay more each month over the two year contract to more than make up for the initial discount.

It depends really

I personally am happy paying an att premium over t mobile. I've never had a good experience with them :/

For us, we are paying about $260/month for 5 lines, 3 iPhones 2 regular phones.

Unlimited mobile to Mobile on to carrier
Unlimited text for all lines
Unlimited data one 1 iPhone
200mb on 2 other iPhones
And 1300 anytime minutes with rollover
Unlimited anytype of minutes (land lines) weekends and week nights

That's only about $52/line per month.
Not bad if you ask me

If we each had our own line on t mobile, we would end up paying more

I said usually, how can you compare a 5 phone rate plan to a individual rate plan especially if you have grandfathered discounts?
If I went to ATT it would cost me $1320 more over two years not including the $399 cost of the iphone 4s.

Yeah, but you have access to a lot of service.
On pay as you go, you miser yourself.
If you were to make the same number of txt and use the same amount of minutes you have in that plan, your pay as you go rate would be much higher.
Forced consumption, but if you enjoy the service and convenience, why not?
You could live in a cave and it would certainly a lot cheaper.
