Dove is my go to, but more pricey then I'd like. Often just go for the deals as long as it's anti perspirant. I'm an old man in a young guys body tho haha

lol, I'm still in my early 40s and I've been wearing Old Spice deodorant for the past 13-15 years!

Never had any complaints from the ladies, but have gotten more than a few compliments on how I smell whenever they are laying on my chest after the deed.

Even as child I've been more of the "old soul" type, but apparently the scent of Old Spice can still be appreciated by the younger ladies even though there's a stigma surrounding this brand, lol

Could very well be that Old Spice works well with your own bodies natural pheromones. A lot of colognes, deodorants and perfumes work that way - might smell great in the air but once it's settled with your own body scent, the combo might not be pleasant.

Kinda like motorcycles and helmet. I don't fit well on Kawasaki and Arai helmets never fit my dome shape - even though I've loved their helmets since I was a kid. I'm a Shoei head shape apparently.

Solid theory!

The helmet analogy definitely his home with me... only Bell ( cause in cheap) or Shoei ( if I'm feeling rich) for me, as those manufacturer's "standardized" measuring units fit and feel best when worn by me, even after trying other brands of the same size.

Yeah it's crazy to me how many people don't realize how critical the proper fit of a helmet is, lol. You definitely should not pick one solely based on color or design.

I always went to Cycle Gear tried on all the different models / sizes and then do the "tests" to make sure it's a snug fit lol. Arai - I could literally FEEL the air bunched up on the top of my dome in the gap between the top of my head and the liner lol.

Let's just say that I've dated a lot over the years, but never gotten further than a couple years or so with any of them ( on and off, as well) due to the questionable "sanity" of some overwise very attractive women!

I have to admit I have my own issues as well, which I'm sure contribute to my 2 year expiration date kicking in, lol

I wore my very first helmet (dusted off the HJC) from 13 years ago, just a couple weekends ago because my cousin bought a few Cardo talkpaks to try out during a group ride and I didn't feel like ripping apart the Sena setup on my go to Bell helmet...

Talk about lack of quality between the two brands! Instantly noticed the degrade in comfort, stability and increased noise when wearing the HJC ( but matched my Gixxer sixer perfectly back then, lol) compared to my current go to Bell that's about 3 year old now, but does not match my current bike, at all.

... one of those dilemma associated with form over function, or vice versa, I suppose.

Oh man. I have the Sena SMH with the mic running along the inside of the front. Old tech, LOL. So glad nobody can see me looking like a switchboard operator with that giant mic.

I'm sure all bike riders are the same in that respect.

From time to time I have wanted to switch from Arai to another brand, Suomy for example when Dovi was riding for Ducati, and the fit and finish is just not the same.

Oh I did the same when I saw Rossi's helmets with AGV, lol. Just did not fit right.

Sounds like the three of us are at least wise enough to go with function vs aesthetic. That or we just value our brains

So not too long ago, I did a quest for new deodorant / anti P. I wanted more natural vs shit with aluminum and other armpit staining ingredients. My pits were slightly discolored over the years using generic aluminum filled antiP. I don't know when but after I started the experiment and present day, somewhere along the way, my pits no longer look like they're suntanned, lol.

Of all the different brands / scents I tried, my personal favorite ended up being the Corpus California scent. Just so happened the California one smelled the best to me. Light and fresh I guess, but tons of different scents.

Zion was nice as well, and then the Urban Cowboy. Schmidt's had good quality product, the scents all seemed a bit too feminine for me or I didn't like it.

Cologne wise? I don't fuck with fragrances in that sense. Again, they're filled with some terrible shit. I use Le Labo - waxed based that just rubs onto your skin, no weird chemicals. Females tend to LOVE the Bergamote22 scent - but again, goes back to make sure it mixes with your own natural scent. Le Labo has tons of scents.
