To be fair the crotch rocket gangs are basically the same guys just younger with different bikes.

I see them all the time. The difference is I never thought to look at it the way you do. To me, they are just out there having a good time.

We all have costumes of one kind or another. Sometimes our costumes are even our fancy cars. Maybe that's why many people think BMW drivers are ass hats!

It's also why HD has been hemorrhaging money. They catered to one demographic basically and now that base is becoming too old to ride. That's why they're scrambling to revamp and not lose out on the younger generations. Also cheaper parts coming out of China.

You saw the same thing happen to Cadillac and to some extent, longtime mainstays of high end retail like Bergdorfs / Barney's (RIP) and Neimans. They were oh so careful to not upset their existing client base, they tended to shun the younger crowd.
