Here's a scene with Mel Brooks' wife, Ann Bancroft.

Always thought of her as a serious actor, but she's funny. And to top it off, she married Mel so you know she has to have a sense of humor, living with him. lol

Such a great and funny movie. Mel Brooks is a comic genius.
Pretty sure I was about 10, 1988/89 when I saw it.
Probably didn't understand much.

I liked Spaceballs too. Here's a funny scene:

I like how the scene uses John Hurt, from the original Alien movie.

This documentary movie is of zero surprise about the exclusive culture and pervs who ran it at the top. Worth a watch...

Anyone got Cliff Notes cuz I'm intrigued but not enough to watch it.

The owner wanted nothing but attractive people working on the floor of the stores, the owner and photographer used the bookings to get male models to sleep with them and they discriminated against minorities in their stores and Corporate HQ.

How exactly? I ask sincerely as I feel there's always the other side to a story. The blacks I knew that worked at my local stores loved it. I was a huge A&F whore back in the day. I still have a tendency to pop in there from time to time and pick up some clothing items.

All males were "auditioned" and were sent home if they didn't participate.

Awake - Netflix Original about people who can't fall asleep. Absolutely horrible.

Summer Days, Summer Nights. Ed Burns directed it. Really enjoyed it! It's a sappy movie about teenage love over the summer in 1982 (also on Netflix)

Netflix sucks by the way. I don't know why I bother

Finally saw TG: Maverick.

Enjoyed it. Does the ending lead to another? Hangman?

I think we have to separate the action movies into tiers. Top Gun isn't the same kind of action you'll find in Die Hard. I don't think you can compare them.

Or the matrix? Or the road warrior? Maverick was good, probably a little bit better than top gun, but not in the same league with those three movies.

Broaden your mind: they might've been both.

I should have clarified with - in theaters. Die Hard is better for sure as a movie. So is Under Siege 2 and many others!
