What are the highs you normally see in your location? We get 110F+ here in the summer. I prefer the cool crisp temps of 50s, 60s, and 70s here in the fall/winter.

We’re close in proximity in fact that’s where I snagged my f82 from (Rancho Cucamonga). Last year was also abnormal, but typically we get sub 20 days of 110 a year. Prior record was 33 days in 2011. Seems cyclical but it’s certainly not as hot as others believe it to be. That said, my favorite are 80 degree evenings, windows down and my most recent favorite tunes. A couple months for that still.

How about 97f in chandler AZ,

Family spent the day by our pool today! Beautiful, clear day here in AZ before summer to swim with the family.

Did you get your car from a BMW dealer out here?

No, randomly found it for sale online from the second owner. Car was originally purchased from the actor that played the main federal cop on Breaking Bad and lived a majority of its life so far in Malibu, this kid snagged it and hardly had it and a recent addition to his new family forced a sale early covid.

No, he’s on the other side of the valley. It’s abnormally warm for us by roughly 10 degree give or take.

Definitely hotter than normal for this time of year. Every year the summer seems to stary earlier though. We seem to average abojt 115f throughout the summer though. Night to day with no temp drop.

Finally the forecast is starting to look better. I think I'll collect my car from storage this weekend.

Now that is funny. But everyone would be sitting out in the yard around the fire, right? 70f here right now would have everyone out in the yard and most would be in shorts and t-shirts. Yard work would be the order of the day. There'd be kids and bicycles clogging the side streets and people walking dogs.

It's all about the climate you're used to. I remember the first time I visited Florida. My mother is a snowbird and has a place not far from Leesburg. I rented a convertible and drove everywhere with the top down... in February. I got a lot of strange looks.

I had an E93 when I moved here and a coworker told me you have to sell that Convertible. Only tourists have convertibles....he was right. My F33 has a small window of opportunity, 72 degrees to 80 degrees. Other than that, the tops up

The coldest I've ever been in my life was 29 F in Daytona, Florida. It's a different type of cold! I was sooooooo cold that I packed up early and drove the car home.

Once I was home in the frigid northeast, I was back to riding my motorcycle the 25 miles to/from work every single day again...and strangely never felt cold.....

Spring is here in Brklyn!

After 9/11 the Dutch gave NYC millions of daffodils, which are now naturalized all over the city. Very pretty.

Mostly sunny and 14c with a light breeze. I think it's time to switch to the summer wheels on the truck.
