Age of first driver championship:
Hamilton: 23
Vettel: 23
Alonso: 24
Verstappen: 24
Fittipaldi: 25
Schumacher: 25
Lauda: 26

See a trend? Max first joined F1 at 17. 17 year olds don't win championships because their brain is literally still developing and the prefrontal cortex isn't fully formed. This area is responsible for skills like planning, prioritizing, and making good decisions... Clearly where Max has made strides from his early days.

You can talk shit all you want, but his is the only name with 10 straight wins in a row, 3 championships soon.

Perez has the same car, so if max was average, Perez should be winning too no?

Still though, you shit on max when Lewis hasn't won a single race since Jeddah 2021. So it goes two ways, Lewis needs the car more than Max does, max was still able to get a win or few with inferior cars when Mercedes dominated, he even had a win against the W11 which was considered the best F1 car back then.

"Max isn't fast"

If he wasn't fast, he wouldn't have all these wins, especially against a teammate with the same exact car.

It's absolutely great though that you're so triggered by Max winning, I hope he wins every race till 2026

Did you see the body structure (physique) from Gasly ,Charlie, Sainz, Tsunoda, Norris ect.. ?

F1 is all about weight saving mate , they try to lose body weight to be faster .
I heard that MAX has the strongest neck muscles of the field ..that matters in a F1 car !

Mate . Do you want to put bodybuilders in the cars ?

As you seem to reside in a parallel world when you say the things you say about Verstappen, let's approach it differently.

Do you know how a blacksmith/swordsmith makes a strong sword ?

One of the last processes in fabricating a sword is quenching and tempering it. Quenching hardens the metal so it holds an edge longer but this also makes it very brittle. To restore some ductility and durability the sword is tempered. With swords, due to their length, the challenge is greater as in a typical quenching it is possible to bend or warp the blade if it is not introduced to the quenchant smoothly and evenly.

Both Hamilton and Verstappen have been shaped by their past involving countless hours driving karts on tracks since they were kids. They were undeniably super talented from the get-go and their dads were vital in helping them blossom their talents. Experiences good and bad on a personal level and a tremendous time spent on karting tracks and later on professional race tracks, quenched and tempered the extraordinary talents of both Hamilton and Verstappen and they gradually became an ace at handling their mighty swords. You cannot "undo" any of that: those guys keep improving their Grandmaster skills with every qualification, Sprint and race. But as age goes on and the body grows older, top performance in a top sport becomes increasingly draining.

The problem for Hamilton is that, at the age of 38, with Verstappen around in the form and with the experience, maturity and mindset he currently masters at the age of 25, his chances to ever get an 8th WDC have virtually vaporized. It's sobering to face, but only should Verstappen become incapacitated by some adverse event impeding him to fight for race wins in 2024 and 2025, 2020 will have been the last WDC title for Hamilton. In the meantime Hamilton will require to walk the extra mile to physically keep up with the physical condition of youngsters, and on a mental level frustration risks to keep growing by facing the race results. In 2022 Hamilton (6th in the WDC) was even beaten by his team mate Russell (4th in the WDC).

Verstappen is an immovable object who impeded Hamilton the way to an 8th WDC in 2021 and even mostly impeded him - despite all his titles, trophies, records, skills, experience and a whole Mercedes AMG war machine behind him - to personally ever win even 1 single race after Dec 5, 2021. Maybe Hamilton will still manage to get a couple of race wins in 2023, 2024 and 2025, but it will be interesting to know what happened to Verstappen during those races.

In 2006 Schumacher quit F1 and team Ferrari as 2nd in the WDC. In 2010 he made a surprise comeback at the age of 41 with team Mercedes. In 2010 he ended 9th, in 2011 he ended 8th and in 2012 he ended 13th. The "old" fox couldn't keep up with the youngsters anymore (his young team mate Rosberg outpaced him each season: 7th, 7th and 9th). The driver who won the WDC titles during his comeback era was 18 years his junior: Vettel (WDC titles in 2010-2011-2012-2013 at the age of 24-25-26-27).

Of course starting from young gives you that balance and 'in built' thinking, a 30 YO who gets on a pedal bike for the first time in his life won't get 10 feet without falling off. I haven't ridden a m/cycle for years yet tried a friends m/cycle the other day and it was as if I rode it the day before.

AmuroRay we need more please don't stop! Not sure I agree with your line of thinking but please keep bringing it - we need to break this VER lovefest up and spice it up a bit! Getting a bit too chummy lately on the F1 threads.

Those are in my book all very good drivers, and some have proven that they are world class material, and I believe they can certainly give Max a run for his money. Better than PER, that's for sure in my book.
ROS did beat HAM at some point and who knows what would have happened if ROS didn't quit after he became WDC. There's no telling he wouldn't have beat HAM the next 3 years or not.
Who says the RB19/RB20 won't even fit another driver's driving style even better.
I don't think the RB19 characteristics are such that only Max can handle those. If there's such a thing, I believe it's more that Checo can't handle them.
Absolutely doesn't mean another driver couldn't step in and have success - I just believe that it would be a huge uphill battle for anyone regardless of skill level. You have an entrenched dominant driver in the middle of rewriting history books with a team that displays the willingness to build the car completely around his style (as they should). Said driver is also ridiculously popular and the team only benefits more with his dominance. Regardless of talent level I think that alone is a hard spot to jump in to. I do believe that he does have a unique talent above any of the others - namely to take such a pointy car to the edge, keep it there with absolute consistency, keep tires happy, and added the mental side that was his biggest detriment at the beginning (was also one of his biggest aids at the same time but that was a different discussion). All conjecture but I do not think anyone else on grid has that level of ability combined with the mental fortitude to withstand the pressure as they work to get up to speed. Of those I think LEC would be the one to get closest to his outright pace but would struggle with consistency in tougher conditions. NOR I think would overall fare the best with PIA maybe being up there. ALB missed his shot - has recovered a bit but think it would go the same way. The others I do not think are overall on the same level as these. Again all opinion which makes it fun

Oh and ROS beat HAM because he kept pouring sugar in HAMs tank and never got caught. That was an epically unfortunate and strange reliability year in HAMs car... Think ROS had some blackmail material on Toto

I have a feeling it would be a steep, steep learning curve to come to RB and try to not only learn that car, but also be anywhere near as quick as Max. The only guy in F1 who I think has a similar driving style is Lec, but I think drives too much on the edge and has less margin for mistakes as a result (similar to Rus).

I do think most realize Max is the differentiator with the RB. The ones who don't just don't want to admit it.

Crazy - another record for Max this weekend. Now holds the record for the most consecutive poles to wins at 13. Previous holder was Sch with 12.
Yes and no matter how much he says the opposite his teammates there were nothing special over what VER has faced so far. And HAM lost to VER in a superior car. In no way shape or form was RB16 an overall better car than W12. Massi BS aside VER took him with an inferior car. Starting to hear it more from a few in the press/commentators/etc about giving VER the credit he deserves and its not just the car. Begrudgingly it seems but they are slowly starting to admit it.

Some of you need to relax and get off whatever bandwagon you're on! As fans, we simply want good racing and exciting championship battles, and a single person dominating, whether it is Max or Lewis, makes for a very boring sport.

I try to bring some spice. The whole board was on suicide watch 2 years ago when Lewis won in 2020 - it's suddenly a hippy paradise. Winning will do that to you.

I'm just looking forward to Qatar and someones very probable 49th win, quite relaxed about it and the only thing on my mind is can Ferrari move up to bother the rocket Mclarens, maybe something Carlo thinks of on the hoof can tip the balance to get the reds onto the podium.
