Side note, that's ridiculous that that isn't allowed. I have a permanently mounted system that holds an iPad for navigation. Because it isn't on a Crown Vic this is somehow allowed? Plenty of folks with aftermarket lights installed on their vehicles without issue. Something isn't adding up.

When my bro in law was young - he worked for a car place that bought auction cars. You had to know EVERY trick to not get hosed by people who didn't want to put a cent into them.

His favorite was one where thy ran out of gas getting the car home. After towing it in - they got it up on the rack and it had a milk gun with gas in it - and NO fuel tank. Fuel sender was wired together (old float style back then) to show 1/2 tank.

They had to add that to the list of things to look for. LMAO!

yeah, so here when the car are around 200k km (125k miles), they get rid of it asap. Canada is big, not much people per ft² , so cop reach this mileage quite fast.

No time to remove stuff, way easier to put it in the contract

yeah, so here when the car are around 200k km (125k miles), they get rid of it asap. Canada is big, not much people per ft² , so cop reach this mileage quite fast.

But one thing it's not, is it's not a choice. 99% of trans people don't have a choice in this. The only thing we have a choice on is whether to transition or not.

You know, what, though? Despite being trans not being a joke, many, many people make malicious jokes about it, including on this thread.

Many, multiple studies have shown that transgender people, IF they receive proper treatment (including transitioning) AND have accepting family, friends, and acquaintances, have a suicide rate that is pretty much exactly equal to the rest of the population. However, when denied treatment due to transphobic laws and insurance companies, and when surrounded by people that think being trans is something to joke about, and be malicious about, the suicide rate of trans people quickly rises to the 41% you often see quoted.

To be fair, while I believe that suicide is personal choice, and only the person considering it has any power over it, there is no doubt in my mind that bigotry, discrimination, hatred, and malicious 'jokes' such as this, and others I have seen on this thread definitely contribute to it.

So, tl;dr, take your transphobic jokes and shove them so far up your fourth point of contact that they come out your mouth.

Having that stuff still installed on a former cop car in my area is not illegal. There was a recent story about some kid running around with a former cop car that still had the spot light, radio antennas, and push bars on the car. The county cops were asking anyone if they had any information on this guy as some were saying he may have been impersonating a police officer. The kid was pulled over and questioned but was ultimately released. Because driving around in a car with those things mounted is not illegal in this jurisdiction.

I’ve seen a bunch of videos on youtube with these cop impersonators. I think it’s one guy mainly who keeps getting stopped over and over. He supposedly owns some security company (like to escort funerals and what not) and his car looks EXACTLY like a cop car. However it seems he can get away with it as long and it doesn’t say police on it or some very specific things like that. However the average person would think it’s a copy car.

Same. There is a special place in hell for soccer moms that buy white Ford Edge's Taurus's and Explorer's.

My personal favorites are the obvious cop cars that have been sold at auction and are currently driven by the dealers living in the projects.
