You watched The Jefferson's after dinner with your parents. And couldn't wait until next week to see Happy Days and Mork and Mindy.

I walked out of the garage and saw my neighbor bent over hands on knees looking downwards. I thought maybe he dropped something and looking for it. I stroll over -

Me - "Hey neighbor. You looking for something?"

Him - "Yeah, I'm looking for my breath. This is what you have to look forward to when you're older."

Tried to get out of bed to pee around 2:30. Pressed on bed with right hand to push up to sitting, felt like my whole shoulder ripped. Should have put on Depends last night

Oh no. I woke up middle of the night last night as well.

Didn't go to the bathroom though. My body must've thought it was time to wake up and I immediately got morning wood. Didn't want to deal with the hassle of lowering the mast to go pee so just rolled back over and went back to sleep.

Is this…. Signs of getting old?!!!

Well yeah. You just let it hang off the side of the bed. Throw the balls over the edge type deal.

I need to move my night stand a bit further away from my bed. I usually wake up with a half-drank cup of water on my night stand from the night before. I'd hate to spill my water on my cell phone/charger from rolling over.

I'm kidding!!! My cell phone is water resistant.

You know you're old when...

You experience SFSV malfunction ($hit-fart separator valve).

This morning, before coffee...

Wife hands me her eyeglasses after a lens fell out. Being the technoid that I am, I carried the remains out to my shop for repairs. I reinstalled the lens and tightened things up, then triumphantly returned the eyeglasses to my happy wife.

She went to the kitchen, then returned moments later, complaining that things seemed blurry and the nose pads didn't feel right. On closer examination, I realized that I had handed her my 2x reading glasses while tossing her eyeglasses on my workbench.

At least we had a good laugh (and can still laugh).

Wait until the day you sit up and experience benign paroxysmal positional vertigo, or BPPV. I had this and it sucks royally. Feels like the whole house is turning over, followed by nausea. Lasted about 2 weeks.

Vertigo absolutely sucks. My wife has occasional occurrences of it when a loose particle in her inner ear balance mechanism moves. Then she has to do a prescribed head movement to get the loose particle back in a place where it does no harm.

I experienced some vertigo a couple of years ago while in a full-motion flight simulator (B737) and can attest that it is a very unpleasant experience.

That's exactly what BPPV is. Nasty condition.

I used to get to fly the old Singer Huey simulators at Ft. Hood. I had a dude who was about to go to flight school along for a ride once. His wife was in the jump seat in back. She got sick as hell, but managed to get to the ladies room before she blew lunch.
