If you like films that have a Techno futuristic theme to them, similar to blade runner, always raining, you'll love this batman... I was hesitant as well, this batman is a winner.

Throw Spiderman in there too, which I think may be even worse, but I've lost count of exactly how many batmans and spidermans there are...

100%.

Returns was good as well.
Went off the silly end of things after... then the pendulum swung too far in the opposite direction, now the films all take themselves too seriously.

I think Tim Burton nailed the right balance between dark and comical in the first two.

I'm probably in the minority here, but I HATED the last Batman movie. The Patterson Batman was shy, timid, almost afraid to hold his head up and make eye contact most of the time and always looking out of the side of his eyes. Weak. But that's just my opinion.

It was good, although I preferred Ari Aster's first horror film, Hereditary, that was excellent, and Toni Collette's performance was just fantastic and sadly snubbed by the Oscars.

I liked it overall but thought it was weird that this billionaire was lugging around a backpack as his choice of storage like some guy on welfare haha, just looked odd.

I still think of him as "Edward" though I don't think I watched all of any one of the Twilight movies. Just saw parts of them when I was flipping through the HBO or Showtime or whatever channels they were on. They were definitely not my cup of tea. I like vampire movies but not those.

Saw Top Gun in this last weekend, awesome movie but I have to say it was odd being back in a theater, 1st time since the start of Covid. Honestly think I now like my set up better, there were so many people eating and going in and out heck even a cell phone was making noise. I think people have forgotten how to act and it made it hard to focus.

Heard today there might be a 3rd Top Gun movie, will be interesting to see if Tom Cruise will be a part of it.

I try to go when it’s not busy. For the most parts, people are well behaved. Every now and then, you come across jack asses. When watching “The Black Phone” few weeks ago, these two dudes next to me kept talking, even when the movie started. I usually don’t say anything unless it really bothers me which it did this time. Guy said sorry and stopped talking.

His friend, however, kept checking his fcking phone/IG every 2 minutes (literally!). After a while I asked if he planned on checking it all the time and he had the audacity to say to me “can you let me enjoy the movie? What’s wrong with you?” I told him “then watch the fcking movie!” Dude kept doing it so I went and asked manager to come talk to him. That made it stop. I simply did not want to waste another breath on such people. It amazes me how people think it’s okay to go to the movies and talk or check their phones throughout.

That's horrible, and the jawdropping thing is they dare talk back to you as if they are in the right. Totally ridiculous.

Saw Thor Love & Thunder.

Enjoyed it very much as I do with nearly all MARVEL and DC Films. Stayed for the 2 post credit scenes. They are definitely setting up the next Thor movie with a Epic battle between Greek Gods.

Count me in again!

Lightbulb

Saw this poster and had to share.

She is definitely one of my absolute favorite actresses. Sooooo gorgeous!
And I'm loving her on this epic role.

Haven't seen that one yet, but I want to watch it after watching Midsommar.

Wish I could watch this but I can't watch movies with subtitles. I get a kind of motion sickness from these.

I can't do subtitles either. Not because of any motion sickness, but I feel like I'm missing out on the cinematography and acting because I'm having to read instead of listen.

My daughter loves subtitles. She turns on the closed caption option for everything that offers it. She gets more out of the show/movie/program with it on.
