I saw one not too long ago that used electrical tape as the blue purple and red on their grille.

The owner can't actually be faulted for this one, though...apparently the company did slap the roundel on their boats for a while. Had to end up in some kind of trademark infringement.

Don't even get me started. I freaking HATE those things. Were they ever even offered as a real legitimate option? I mean I don't care what people do to their cars, but those stripes just stand out and look really bad.

There's a E46 parked where I work that has these colored grill stripes and a M badge on the back, but the badge is placed way too high and for whatever reason it really bothers me.

Me too. I always remove the badges on my "fun car."

I find that fewer people interrupt your day that way. I also don't find alphanumeric characters particularly attractive to look at most of the time.
