When I was young - I started a sub contracting business with a buddy of mine. We were in high school and had no idea what we were doing - but the money was good and we were footloose and fancy free. We drove a LOT. Pulling a trailer with a POS ford ranger. Did I mention we were in high school?

One late night - at about 1 am - we are driving a few hours back home pulling a trailer and it starts to rain - I mean POUR! My buddy who was driving turned the wipers on and *WHIP* the passenger side one just flies off the car at interstate speeds into the storm.

So we could A either let the arm cut a groove in the windshield so the driver could see - or B improvise.

It was decided that the passenger could ride the rest of the way back.....without one sock. =) This reminded me of that immediately.
