I do respect Lewis' talent. And Max's talent as well. But with Max that is as far as I go. I have respect for Max the driver. Zero respect for Max as a team player or human being.

As if Max had anything to do with what the FIA decided 1,5 years ago. He just went in at the right time for new tyres and Hammy didn't. Hammy gambled that the race would finish under SC, and he gambled wrong.

It's not that Hammy lost the 2021 wdc there in abu dhabi. He lost it in Baku, where he forgot to switch off brake magic. Or in Hungary, where the complete field came in for slicks because the track was dry and Hammy didn't.
If Hammy had made the sensible choices on those two occasions, Abu dhabi wouldn't even have mattered.

People we were robbed. Completely robbed. Imagine how much fun it would have been watching Toto go through a complete meltdown had LEW passed VER on that last restart only for them to have their positions reset due to the wrecks. I believe we missed out on something that would have been truly epic. I think even Merc fans would agree with this right now.

Arguably much worse.

Last year LEC came in 2nd. At great distance from Max, but 2nd is still 2nd.
This year I still have to see him beat both PER and ALO, so a 4th place is also a realistic scenario.
And who knows what kind of redesign MERC has in the pipeline...
