Hello All. Just joined yesterday after reading a very indepth newspaper article on the 1series. My dad has a 2002 which is what got his interest. I just remember the spirited drives in that car from my childhood, it's the reason I learned how to drive a stick in the first place. So here I am hoping to learn more about BMW, the 135i and the BMW tuning scene.

Hey everybody! Dan from Houston here. Been lurking for quite a while now but I got my production number yesterday so I figured this was a good time to step out of the shadows .

I've got a '75 2002 and a '95 318ti Club Sport so it only seemed right to add the 1 Series...kind of a natural progression!!

I've been lurking for quite sometime and just recently joined. Currently driving a 2005 G Sedan 6MT, but very intrigued by the 135. Originally I thought the E92 was my next car but the 1 may fit the bill better. So far the site has been great and people seem to be the most mature of any forum I read/participate in. My only suggestion is once the car is out and the tuning begins is that there are seperate forums for each major tuner to keep the kids seperated! Anyway, glad to be here!
