I think you'll like the OWA, it's a pretty solid pour. Also, if you like ECBP A119, check out A120.

Currently sipping Hennessy White, just chillin' in the house. I was feeling a bit relaxed now because I have finally found a handicap toilet https://bestflushingtoilet.org/best-...sabled-person/ that I am looking fp=or such a long time.

Nothing could be worth that price unless you have money to burn and just want it to have it...

Haha. That's easy to do when it's 136 proof. So good though.

Has anyone out there encountered Balcones Whisky? Through sheer curiosity I have a bottle of their Baby Blue headed my way. That and a bottle of Flor De Cana 12yo rum which I am bursting at the seams to taste!

Where did you buy it? I think it's actually better than the regular Henessey (which isn't saying much).

I was told Hennessey Pure White isn't sold in the US because it is lower tiered / aged than the regular product in the USA... frankly i thought it was better.

Can't go wrong with Four Roses. Good bourbon, affordable, and easy to find. I think I still like a good bottle of Four Roses Single Barrel better, but I figured I had to give the Small Batch Select a shot since it finally made its way to Ohio.

Liquor stores here are still drive-up only. Tough to browse that way. I'm liking Jameson a lot and usually just grab a bottle or two of that because I know they'll have it in stock. Can someone recommend something similar that is likely to be in stock? I'd just like a change of pace. I know they have Proper 12 and I was on that kick for a while, so I'm in no hurry to return to that. I'm not stuck on Irish whiskey. A good bourbon would suit me fine as well. I'm just looking for something in the same $30-$50 range.

I've been browsing via internet and either order online or figure out what I want and then check a local store via website or phone to figure out if they have stock and at what price. Then you can either get it delivered (varies by state/county obviously) or go pick it up if it happens to be available local.

I recommend grabbing a bottle of Teeling Single Grain and or Redbreast 12. They’re both really good bottles and should be in within your price range.
Cheers

I have heard good things about the Baby Blue, but I have not had it myself. I have a bottle of their barrel proof whiskeys and I do enjoy it. The Texas whiskey does have a different taste than others, so it is likely going to be a love or hate type thing.

Had a nice glass of this last night. It's become one of my favorite barrel proof bourbons.

Jealous, that bottle is pretty hard to find for MSRP.

Pennsylvania does a first come first served release of some of the rarer whiskeys they receive. I was lucky enough to snag this bottle for $70 when they had it. I wouldn't bat an eye at paying $100 or so but the secondary prices are absurd.

I shop in VT, and with them you can special order things if you are willing to wait; they often have (or can get) rarer things that aren't listed on their page, so you might want to try finding somebody in PA who does their ordering and ask them.
