But i would guess that the most reasonable explanation is that you haven't fully adjusted to the recently changed sleeping arrangements between you and your daughter. When people sleep walk, they aren't like zombies, even to other people who are awake, they seem completely normal within the task they are doing.

When you wake up and your daughter is in her car seat, in your car; start to worry. Until then, i wouldn't sweat it and it's not likely to happen very often.

Next morning just check the images and do this every night and for a couple of weeks .

Probably, you were in REM sleep, the baby cried, you woke but not fully and you went and got her, and back to bed....never fully became conscious

Ask and night turn L&D nurse...I have entire conversations with nurses at night and then in the morning have no recollection of any of it...

What's the medical term for being cut sideways? Not up and down. That's episiotomy, but what is it called when they cut you inside your vagina with a scalpel on the inside "width wise" to make you wider during delivery.

It's a more harm than good intervention...should be abandoned

There is no cutting lateral with a scalpel...that would be a disaster..

The nurses call these type deliveries "vaginal cesareans" and feel sorry for the patients that get ruined like this...

I was in labor for over 24 hrs so they were prepping me for a C-Section. I didnt want to give birth that way so they let me labor a little longer. 27 hrs total. They were concerned the baby wouldnt fit through the birth canal initially because I wasnt dilating fast enough.

Fast forward to pushing..

I remember I was cut on the inside of my vagina and with each contraction my Dr was pulling as if to stretch the muscle as wide as it could go to get the baby out. She used a scalpel to cut my insides and my daughter was delivered on the third count of pushing while counting to 10. I had stitches on the inside of me for over a month. She didnt do an episiotomy because I asked if her if that's what she cut and she said No. Also I could see I had no stitches down there.


I went for a check up 1 month and 6 months later. On the 6 month check up she said "it doesnt even look like a baby came out of here." So I guess that means she didnt destroy me by doing that.
