I got mine on a Home Depot Deal. Just wait it out and I am sure you can find a deal sooner or later. You won't regret it!

I have the BL-7000EXT and it's too short for the G80, which is ironic when it's long enough for my SQ7. Frustrating as it's a great bit of kit.

I like them, I did the oil pan gasket on my car with them which involves dropping the front subframe and there was plenty of room.

I upsized my purchase of QJ to the 7000 a couple years ago and got it on sale from CostCo. I find it great for MX where I will need to repeatedly go from underneath a vehicle to working in the engine bay. However, for something like an oil change where I don't necessarily need to raise the whole vehicle, swapping summer/winter wheel sets, bleeding brakes, etc... I find it just as easy or easier to use a floor jack and my ESCO jack stands.
The 7000 fits fine for both my N55 X1 and M Coupe. In the case of the coupe, it trades setup time of moving the QJ over+ positioning them for the time to use 2 floor jacks to raise the car and graduate raising the front, back, and stand heights. As others have said, make sure it'll fit and line up w/ your vehicle jack points. I think QJ goes on sale at HD and CostCo a couple times a year. I didn't buy/use QJ's wallbrackets to store mine. I have a bunch of gladiator wall track in my garage and use one of the gladiator brackets to do essentially the same thing.

Going on 6 years using my QuickJack 5000 fairly regularly. Prices have risen but still a very good tool. Many others utilize the portability and take it to the paddock, mine shuffles between garage stalls solely.
Careful on going beyond the 5000, want to make sure the Miata has enough clearance to slide the quickjack between the wheels - barely had room on my 1999. |

Could you turn the QJ 90-degrees and use it that way since the Miata's wheelbase is so short? I'd like to get one, but I need one that works on the M2C, a Miata, an Element and an RDX. Otherwise, it's not worth it and I'll just stick with a speed jack and triangles. TIA-- R.

Happened to have this open in another tab (for some reason or other ): https://www.quickjack.com/support/measuring-guide/.
I may or may not be finding the model that works for a 1er, a Volvo S60, and a Honda Odyssey. |

I just used mine Monday to swap my midpipe out for the stock cats so I can smog my car (Fuck you California).
I picked mine up on OfferUp for like $550 bucks. Did the roller ball mod to make positioning it easy. So far I’ve used it for exhaust, detailing, wheel swaps and oil changes. I’d say it’s paid for itself so far. Look around for lightly used ones, there are deals to be had. |

I prefer the swivel casters with the flat base instead of the ball rollers because it's more smooth and it's soft rubber wheels. But my zip tires do tend to snap off, have to like try to reduce the pressure on the wheels. Maybe I should use metal zip ties. |

Not sure if it was stated prior, Costco runs a sale on these twice a year, taking 300-400 off the costs Needless, use mine twice a month at a minimum. Maybe I just work on my cars more than others.
