I dont have as big of a problem with the wheels as i do the size of the wheels. iForged are fine wheels, but 22 is too "baller" for a GTR. If they would put some nice 19-20" iForged TE's on it, it would look great.

I agree with you... the first one is dropped way too much and they turned a sports car into a luxury "Chrysler 300C" LOL
Grey one looks better but you should NOT be running those wheels if you want to really drive that car I know I know, this is for SHOW only but still hah.. looks sick tho nice post

I think 21 is perfect.
We don't just hate it because the rims look big, we also hate it because it is slammed beyond any performance gain and it comes with a bling bling chrome on the rims. CHROME WHEELS DO NOT BELONG ON PERFORMANCE CARS. |

your definition of "Dubs" is off. You see, here we have what are called "luxury sport wheels," or "sport wheels (to a certain degree)."
We have the 3 classic designs that fall into that category: The Radial Spoke, the Double Spoke, and the Mesh wheel. These...are NOT "dubs," they aren't "rimz" either. They are sporty, classy, and go with most any modern euro car. Also, remember that the size shoudn't determine the "dub" status of the wheels. Why? Because different cars have different wheel diameter options. If you were to put a set of 17 inch HRE's on a civic.....it would be fine, but put a set of 17'' chrome "dub" rims on the same car..........and now you have "dub" style wheels, but the same size as their counter part. Now here we have some "dub" style wheels. These are actually Dub brand wheels as a matter of fact. So regardless of weather these are 10 inches or 24 inches...........its their style and symbol that classifies them as "dubs." They are made up of a bunch of random designs.......nothing you could classify as double spoke, radial spoke, and so on. I despise these types of wheels.

everyone knows that people go over board for SEMA shows. Like I said before, I dont know why or who set the standards for "show" cars at SEMA. With that said, I highly doubt they are actually going to keep those wheels on these cars. Most companies just crank out stuff for SEMA, but wont actually use it.
Think of fashion shows. Designer after designer has said that fashion shows are shows indeed. Meaning that a lot of what is displayed in a fashion show won't actually be a production peice, but rather a mere display of their capabilities to create, design, and innovate. So the same applies to many car shows, especially SEMA. Companies just wanna be the biggest, baddest, flashiest, and so on...........for show.
