Summer vacation activities for kids?

You have classes everyday. You pick your classes when you enroll. Classes are like arts, riflery, archery, canoeing, swimming, horseback riding, hiking, rock climbing, religion, and much much more. It teaches you lots of social skills from a young age. You sleep in cabins on bunk beds with no a/c or heat. Take showers outside in stalls. Indoor plumbing thank god. No phones, no internet.

I've got an older kid (15+) but so far we are planning to see if we can ship him to Seattle for about 10 days with his older brother. Just not sure about unaccompanied minor flights post-911.
He used to do the Junior Lifeguard programs, but has somehow gotten out of that idea. Still wants me to take him to the beach all the time though.
Summer baseball season started, but that only covers early evening hours. Rest of the day he will probably be playing video games ;(

My step daughter is 16 and tomorrow I'm driving her to the airport so she can fly to NY to be with her father for the summer. I'm kinda -_- because her cousin is 17 and pregnant (shit happens but that's fine) with a drug dealer boyfriend (no bueno). She'll hang out with them but lets just not hope she meets up with the drug dealers friends

Send 'em off to camp, take 'em to the lake/river, let them play video games for awhile or watch tv, take them hiking, go to events, help them learn a new hobby, etc.

3hr/day summer school (starting July) is too short. Although we are planning to do lots of outdoor activities, video game is one think we have in mind.

When I do, am seriously thinking about earplug and ducktape (or those cough hospital mask) my own mouth. I will say I have a flu and had little ringing on an ear from watching the race or a range.

It will be hectic this week.

-Summer school 9-11am (T,TH starts 6/30-7/24)
-Drive 20+ min to drop the kid for 3:30pm-6pm at church summer class this week only.

If she likes the summer school, she will be signed up for everyday between 7/27-8/14.
Between those 2 hours, I was suppose to hit the gym and do Physical therapy on ALL joints. I guess I gotta postpone till my joint stabilize.

I put my boy on the plane Friday in LAX. He was texting us the plane was low on fuel, the captain dropped the oxygen masks, AND he saw a gremlin on the wing (all must have been on the ground in Portland) before I got home thru that !!@#!@$#%!#@%$ LA traffic.

Okay, after picking up my kid from the summer school, my kid was saying
"There are too many babies in this school."

We had no room for K-5, so we put her (with permission) on Pre-1.

My kids went swimming twice, we spent 5 hours in different parks all together, I read them a book for an hour, and the boys have an awesome new tutor who taught them English for two hours while they played outside.

I have to say, that days like this (let's forget the minor incident from earlier) are the reason I have kids. I truly love days like this.

My kid is currently at grandma's house. She was picked up after school to attend another fun class (held by local church near where grandma lives at).

We will be picking her up at 6:30pm tomorrow for another Thursday summer class.

M-F (This week only) 3:30-6:30p--enrollment was only $50.
Local church class (more fun stuff than biblical stuff)

T, Th (for 4weeks) 9-11a

If she likes the T/TH one, i will probably register for 3week Aug class held by city.
Myself, wife, and grandma is busy just picking her up, and drive to different town for 3:30p class.
