5 is good. 6.5 is even better. Depends if she has child.

I'll take a 5 with no kids over a 10 with kids.

If a Woman has a child I won't sleep with her. I'll be friends with her but i won't sleep with her.

in general recruiters are the worst people i have dealt with. right up there with life insurance sales people. anyways don't be afraid to contact your recruiter. they usually have horrible communication so don't be scared to know the status of your application. god forbid you know how things are going for a job that you are actually interested in.

I see a number of folks mentioning how HR departments are slow. Whether they are, at least in large firms like E&Y or large consulting firms and perhaps other types of firms, depends on the type of position they are trying to fill. When they have signed engagement for which they need personnel, they move quite quickly. When they are just filling a general opening, they may move rather slowly. They may use the services of recruiters to aid them in identifying suitable candidates for either situation/position.

All the best.

P.S./Edit:
If there's a particular firm at which you'd like to work, check their website for available openings and apply to the ones that are a good fit for you.

Update: Just heard from the recruiter this morning and apparently the company is implementing a new HR system (not sure exactly what this means...new personnel, software, etc....idk) and haven't brought anyone in for an interview in a while. So while I don't have a firm date yet, they're still interested and will update her once they're in a good spot with their HR transition.

It's a new software and potentially a new business process that's being implemented.

What it means is that at least one person who is critical to the HR operations probably is vastly overworked, the one or two people who are trying to cover those folks' workload aren't empowered to make key decisions, and therefore the whole department is focused on mission critical HR tasks and has placed general hiring on the back burner or slow lane.

All the best.

Good suggestion. I know I would look awful in gold lame pumps, to say nothing of them likely hurting my feet.

All the best.

During an interview, make sure you assert dominance. That includes never breaking eye contact and letting the interviewer know you plan on mating with their partner (regardless of gender)

You must have coached the person I interviewed this morning. Seriously the guy stared through me the whole time. It was beyond unnerving to have this person with the most intense look looking right back at me. I seriously wanted to ask him if I had a booger somewhere and that was why he was doing that. Big no to that one.
