Thanks. Not my car. I was posting a pic of the car I saw. Isn't it awesome in real life though?

I keep hosing down the turkeys to keep them cool. Lost 2 of them on Tuesday to the heat, one died in the shade next tot eh water.

Since I keep watering them in the same place, the ground is staying damp and they and the chickens wallow in the cooler dirt.

Had a few brief sprinkles this morning, things are much nicer now.

Since we never get more than a few days together of these temps, I still haven't broken down and got A/C in the house. The internal temps were running close to 90 because we can't open the doors and let the breeze blow thru "it will get the floors all dirty" Yeah, well so will me sweating all over them. . .

Meh, I'd take 110F and low humidity over the 90F and 100% humidity we get here on any day of the week.

Wear some shorts next time, and your balls won't get on the grill

I went out and looked at my truck after the sprinkles. Actually, I SHOULD have washed it even though I knew the rain was coming.

It's weird, to have water falling out of the sky yesterday, instead of the normal Santa Anas blowing burning embers around.

Wow, OP! I'm so glad I'm not in L.A. right now. That looks like a Phoenix temperature not an L.A. one.

All the best.

Correct. We get about a week of decent weather in the "spring" and maybe another week in the "fall" (these are relative terms in Ohio, we really only have 2 seasons). Otherwise, it is either bitter cold or unbearably hot and humid.
