I have the 6 and I will be waiting until they release an iPhone with sapphire glass because I am sick and tired of paying so much for an iPhone and having to put it in a case and installing a screen protector.

Wtf do you do with your phone? I have never put a screen protector on any of my iphones and I have never had one get scratched. The rest of the phone gets scratched to hell, but not the glass.

I think I've dropped every phone I've ever owed and would have destroyed at least a couple of iPhones without a case.

I call b.s. on your claim that your iPhone's screen is scratch free. If it is then you are not putting it in your pocket.

Everybody I know that has the 6 or 6 plus has hairline scratches all over their screens.

I've had a 5 for over 2 years, no case. It's been dropped quite a number of times. The chassis is scratched up but the screen is pristine. Stays in my pocket on the go.

Forget getting the over priced screen protector crap. I order 2-3 temper glasses on eBay for $3 a piece and works even better.

I have had good experiences with different brands of tempered glass but the product I am the most pleased with is still the Zagg InvisibleShield.

I'm still using my 4S, I'm way overdue for an upgrade but I'm also still pissed at Apple for going to the lightning plugs. I have a bunch of 31 pin chargers, and a couple of Bose sound docks all with 31 pin.....dammit!

I can speak for Verizon's Edge program. Verizon recently revamped and restructured their phone plans. It ended up being significantly cheaper than what we used to pay before, wasn't quite sure why it was so cheap.

I went to pre-order the 6S Plus and when I did, I learned why it was so cheap and where Verizon "gets" you. When switching over to their new data plan structure, they effectively scrapped the entire notion of contracts, this means that no matter what, if you want a new phone, you'll have to pay full retail for it. The 64 GB 6S Plus was around $850 I believe. You can pay for it all up front, or pay for it interest free over 2 years ($35/year roughly). You won't be able to get another phone again under the Edge program until you've paid off at least 75% of the phone's value.

So depending on which phone you want, the new pricing structure actually costs a little bit more.

Yup just a phone. It's not really a "better" deal money wise unless you're buying a cheaper phone, but even if you aren't, it only ended up being about a few dollars more a month, for me anyway.

Honestly, the best bet would be to go with Apple's monthly payment plan, even though it costs exactly the same as other carriers, the added benefit here is that the phone is unlocked. You get the phone from them, take it to whichever carrier you want and get a plan with them and you're free to bounce from carrier to carrier if you can find a better price.

Too bad we don't have it in Belgium. iPhones are always unlocked here because of commercial laws but we have to pay a lot more for the iPhones than you guys have to pay in the USA. An iPhone 6 (not the Plus) with 64GB costs here 749 euro, roughly 850 usd.

Everything is more expensive here, I should immigrate to the USA.

Yeah for $850 that gets you the 6S Plus at 64 gigs.

Had a 6 when it first came out. Changed it and have changed like 10 different phones in the last year. From having 3 BB Passport's, Samsung S6 Edge, Porsche Design BB and a couple of other Android's. While the 6S isn't much different than the 6, I pre-ordered it anyway since I haven't used an iPhone in a while. 6s+ is too big for my taste, plus the price of the 6S with 64gb is $1030 and that's the one I ordered. I don't really need all that space but I guess I rather have it an not need it than need it and not have it.
