As an American with Asian heritage, I laughed too.

But I'm not your typical "Asian" being 6'5". I've been known to tell off color jokes about my heritage. I remember one I did at work which had my coworkers laughing but then said if it was anyone else they'd report it to HR. But didn't know how things would work in my situation. Then we all laughed together.

It's all in context and intent. I will get upset if a joke was intended with malice. I just think overall everyone needs to lighten up a little.

And what have blacks and whites defending "this type of BS" done to get it to stop? Last time I checked, it's done nothing.

Problems in life A LOT of people have: going to sleep hungry, being an orphan, being homeless, violent crimes / abuse, etc. For whoever said "as an asian american I'm offended", get over yourself. Seriously.
