Showmanship aside, just talking about the music, probably the single greatest musical genius of my and many of your lifetimes. Whether you like his stuff or not, he could play basically every instrument and his music, if studied from a harmony / structure / mathematics perspective, was literally perfect.

That said, Purple Rain aside his other films were bat shit crazy.

Another shocker. I grew up listening to Prince as well. Way too young. For sure made a mark on this world and was a huge influence to many people.
