Crikey, may get that confused with the IS never mind the ES
Autospies had it right though (for once). It may well be the nail in the coffin as far as Ford and GM are concerned.

You can bash on the ES all day long but it always boils down to the simple fact that Lexus leads the entire auto industry in reliability (based on having the lowest number of defects per capita of cars). I'm sure the Lexus folks would laugh about all the BMW whiners who complain about electronic glitches, rattles, and other minor complaints.
While there are always exceptions, I find it astounding how most BMW owners, as partially represented by the regulars of E90post, are egotistic as they always speak condescendingly of 99.9% of all the other cars out there. And you guys ask why there exists the stereotype that BMW owners are snobby? Hah. |

I don't think every E90 regular here bashes Lexus. Everyone here knows about the Lexus reliability and comfort but believe that their drive is boring..
I don't know what about most people but I have 2 BMWs in my house and we haven't had any problems with them whatsoever. You are going to see people bitch about things like rattles because they are little things. You don't see people here bitching about engine or transmission failures yet...
