No, in fact they should not. Mclaren supplies ECU's for F1 teams, who does Bosche supply exactly? ECU's for some production road cars? You think that is state of the art technology?
I really hate these one line unsubstantiated statements on forums. |

Precisely. Not to mention the bastardization of the name of Bruce McLaren, who is arguably the most famous New Zealander in history.
Cute for a joke. Totally impossible in real life. Even for Apple.

I'd love to hear your opinion on what a "one percenter" means to you. Because the top one percent of income earners in the world can afford a McLaren and any other car they'd wish to purchase. But please, for me my entertainment elaborate your thoughts.

OK: Second-most famous New Zealander. I did say 'arguably' in case I forgot the Peter Jacksons of the world ...

for most places in the U.S., 1%'s could afford a McLaren. Make $420k, bring home $250k, live on $200k and put $50k a year into a car. Not too hard to get the $200k for the "cheap" ones. Wouldn't necessarily make it a good decision for many but they could afford it. I disagree on the "any car" and I disagree on the 1%'s in the world, looks like they are making above about $32k a year.

My buddy owned a McLaren. Had a one bedroom apartment and was single. Shared the monthly payment with a friend.
They definitely weren't in the 1%. In this day and age, money is cheap and you can finance the crap out of anything. It's not impressive whatsoever to drive a "baller" car. |
