I think the facelifted 1 series with M-sport looks great. 3 door looks best IMO. I think it's because of the shape of the car it's best suited to only 3 doors. The only think I find weak is the front grille and headlights. They are quite boring now, but apart from that it looks great.

I'd definitely give the 1er the time of day if BMWUSA brought in the hot hatch. |

Its been spotted before...we had a discussion in one of the mid-atlantic thread. Iirc it belonged to the Spanish mission. Also keep a look out for an E91 335d M-Sport, a couple more 1 series hatchbacks and some RHD E90s 320i's and 320d's around DC metro.

I rode in one on my ED in June 07. 1-series is kind of ugly
Not really bad inside but it does definitely feel a class below the 3 series. During my ED trip to Munich in June 07, Rolf drove me to the airport in a 5 door 1 series after I dropped off my 335 at MADA. It definitely looks better than the coupe version. By the way it was a diesel too. Not as fast as stiff as the 335 either. I thought ride was relatively better, but the seats were definitely on the narrow side. Space was smaller too from the looks of it. Dashboard was Would I buy one? Hell no. I'd always pay the extra premium to get the 3 series. Nurf said.

1 series hatch is decent looking, but needs the right body kit and wheels. 1 series wagon in the US, not gonna happen, the hatch is the closest thing we will seen and that is in Mexico... |
