I haven't seen a car as pretty as the F12 TDF roll out of Maranello in decades. This 812 Superfast is a major downgrade in the looks department.

I like the way it looks with the exception of a few areas. I dont like the taillights, but I know why they designed them that way. I think what looks like the cut out for the deployable rear spoiler couldve been better integrated into the body. Looks kind of like an after thought to have those straight cut-ins on the rear deck.
and yeah, the name is kind of dumb. but this coming from a company that named their car the LaFerrari....Ferrari LaFerrari. |

Back is pretty terrible. The F12 is miles better in that regard. The front is stunning, though.
I'll take a new Aventador S at this price point. |

I agree that the TDF is the presttiest in te F12 family, but the 812 is more aerodynamically efficient...

I dunno ppl, I guess I'm in the minority but TDF is Ferrari's version of rice, totally overdone imo. *flamesuit activated* LOL.

Agree with the rear and the exhaust panel that see from the first picture could have been designed better.
I like the turn signals on the steering wheels. If that is what those are suppose to represent. |

F12 tdf design + 812 engine would be the best combination
Its remarkable that they manage to extract more power from the NA V12 than BMW in the 7 series V12, even though BMW uses two turbos and more displacement... I simply love those Ferrari V12s |

go on then...my ls6 powered fc didn't make sense, nor did daily driving a 930whp car...but yes, I enjoyed both immensely. Hell, I don't think my z4mc makes a lot of sense either, whoever said that was a prerequisite for enjoyment?

I think the front of the 812 looks like a Viper, the side like a Vette, and the back is somewhat of an afterthought. I can't quite put my finger on it, but the design doesn't seem cohesive with the rest of the car. The engine will be the last of its kind (most likely) and like every other model they release, each allocation will be accounted for. Last edited by Ab28; 10-16-2017 at 09:49 AM.. |
