i reserved the special edition for 360
im getting mine at midnight as well. i reserved it at a gamestop in the valley

a lot of stores are doing midnight launches

I think they found a good compromise between playability (frame rate) and graphical awesomeness.

I have both machines. Want to know which version to buy. I have the Xbox version on order from Amazon (shipping soon

)) but can easily get the PS3 version from the store.

fwiw - When I preordered 6 months ago, my main reason for going with XBox was the controller. However, Sony fixed that with DualShock 3.

I'm going 360 for achievements + better online (all my friends have a 360, few have a PS3) + it's the same game on both, no real graphical differences.
