I personally think the 1 series is FUGLY. The X3 is alright, I don't mind the looks for the SUV, since i think it's one of the better looking SUV's on the market. I agree though, X5 is a nice car

I was going back and forth between the 1 and the X3. Ended up picking the the X3 because it's got a hideous interior. Whatever it is, I hate that material, and it's the same stuff that's in the Z4.

But I must say that I'm not surprised no one has voted for the X5, it is simply gorgeous. Probably the most aggressive looking SUV ever. But I am surprised the E92 was not tied with it, because it is flawless to me.

Being the "entry-level" BMW now obviously it will sell the best because some just want to have a BMW

Before the 1-series, the E90x's were the best sellers because of its price.

personally hate the 1-series..dont really like the 7-series old and new..used to hate x5's (looks like an old 5series on stilts)..love the rest of the fleet..

The 1 series isn't all that bad looking, once you minus the front and the back, which, atleast to me looks funny. The front, I swear, looks like a BUG's FACE! Not implying it'd scare you, but the funny kind of bug face that makes u go

The back tailights.... om gosh I'd rather have the e90 taillights on there, and that's saying something. But just enjoy the car man, I mean, Toyota Prius's look ridiculously hideous, but their owners didn't buy it on looks. They bought it for fuel economy. I'd assume that the 1 series are bought on the sole reason of the engine, cause anywhere else.....

ouch. ...eye of the beholder i guess...i'm not gonna talk smack abou the 3er b/c were on a 3er site, but i gotta say, its not just the engine. after driving both cars, the 3er and the 1er, the 1 has a lot going for it in terms of feel and handling that the 3er doesn't. i didn't need the extra space and i love the way the 135 looks in person.

As long as you're happy with it, nothing else should matter. Don't take my opinions hard, I'm just basing things on look. I should actually go and test drive one some time this month. Maybe it'll change my mind. But don't hate your car just because of me, because I'm just some guy on the internet talking. If you have that 135 in your driveway, and you love it, that's all that should matter

Before the refresh? You mean when the lights were ever so slightly different?

all that changed was a few LED's, the lights are the same shape! and the bumper got minorly revised....

It's the little things that count. When everything is tweaked to work together, it can make all the difference.

I too believe that the pre-FL 5er is hideous, but the post-FL 5er is beautiful.

It's all subtle, but changing out the lights, bumpers, rockers, and wheels can really alter the look of a car.

Z4 ... hands down... its a gimmick like the SLK... you want a real sports car get a boxter/ cayman...and yeah the X3 , although I love the space inside. So its the Z4

I dont know about you guys but i saw a 5 series wagon with tints and 19 inch BBS wheels last week and a very loud sound system. It reminded me of a family drive by shooting car LOL
