Bowie was never timid. To think that is not understanding his influence.

The real works of queen are not the ones you're referring to, when i was a kid i wondered how the other members had to feel to be just backup to Freddie, but then i realized at some point you can either suffocate a voice, or make room to it.

My Freddie and i have a long relationship, but so do bowie and i. Any bowie fan can appreciate the Saturday night versions I posted (and nobody appreciates Finnish music so never feel bad for those)

I'll listen to it tomorrow, since im watching porn now (queen).

The shadows is one of my all time favorite. That's song is from their works my all time favorite and i don't recommend listening it while skating. Even a veteran like i landed a back flip to a fucking wall, never felt the pain, and faked i meant to do it by standing on my hands on the rink border while wondering would i ever be able to walk again if i fucked it up even more.

The best band in the world was heavily influenced by Bowie, they’ve just realised a Heroes cover. Check out the album Violator for some truly great music, older material on Music for the Masses and Black Celebration is also outstanding.

They’ve also just realised a new album Spirit, awesome.

It is clear only i can find music from times before bowie. I can't say many of their work is on my playlist, but there are a few.

Btw guys now he has the same jacket in white, that's so iphone. I want the yellow.

Nine inch nails is not seen as a softie band there (girly pop here) but the same song, a completely different message. Bowie in my eyes was never timid. His influence is not always in the spotlight, but anyone who hears his work is influenced.

I ment in his personality and the way he portrays his work.
He was a very gentle and modest man imho, and I think its one of the reasons he adapted alterego's especially in his earlier works.

If you like Brian Jonestown Massacre I'm sure you've heard the Dandy Warhols. If not - give them a listen.

Here are a few groups you may like:
Chicago
Creedence Clearwater Revival
Deep Purple
Emerson, Lake and Palmer (Greg Lake's voice is phenomenal)
Eric Burdon and the Animals
Fleetwood Mac
Journey
kd Lang
Led Zeppelin
Moody Blues
Neil Young (Harvest, After the Gold Rush)
Peter Gabriel, So
Pink Floyd
Rod Stewart (the older stuff)
Supertramp
Tina Turner
Traffic (Low Spark of High Heeled Boys)
War

And don't forget foreign artists like:
Eros Ramazotti
Alejandro Sanz
El Barrio (Me Voy Al Mundo)
Juanes
Mana
Marc Anthony
Presuntos Implicados

There are just too many artists that unfortunately get lost in the jumble.

Sweet....I grew up on a lot of stuff and Danzig was one of them....I saw them back in 88 at a small theater. Probably about 200 people there....pretty cool stuff....Misfits and Samhain was a bit noisy for me but Danzig hit it right with the right touch of metal and dark satan feel. I would say modern day version years later would go in to the likes of Godsmack.
