Can't wait, the last one was way beyond my expectations, this one should be phenomenal, wiping the memory of George Cloney as Batman right out of my mind!

The radio show I am listening to has callers who saw it last night.

10.
Great.
Even though he has passed..Heath could get an Academy Award.

Sounds like it is an awesome movie.

I saw it at midnight last night. I didn't get out until 3 am. It is a long movie, but I was thoroughly entertained throughout. The theater was packed with 300 16-29 year olds, and usually you get a bunch of smartasses who want to add commentary throughout. This movie captured everyone's imagination for the full 2.5 hours.

I like Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne/Batman, but Heath Ledger steals the show. He is amazing in this movie. He has the character down like no other that preceded him. You actually begin to fear him and cringe as you anticipate his next diabolic move. Nolan does an excellent job of portraying the comic book as if it could really take place. The creative license he takes in redefining the origins of Two Face make it more believable and realistic than in the comic book. Overall, Nolan makes Tim Burton's Batman look like Joel Schumacher's: hokey and childish. This Batman treatment is all growns up (they do curtail blood flow for the sake of the kids).

I hate going to the movies generally as most stuff I see is absolute crap. Lately, I've tended to rent the BluRay and watch from the comfort of my home. But this one is well worth your $7.50-$10.

A guy called into the show I was listening to. He gave it a 2.5 out of 5.

He said he wasn't sure all the hype around Heath Ledgers joker was about. He said he was "dark" in one scene. The rest of the time he felt like he was watching Shia Lebouf in Transformers repeating the same thing..."No no no no no no no...." LMAO!

I just got back from seeing The Dark Knight, and couldnt disagree with that caller anymore. Heath did an incredible job with Joker and literally made you fear him. It was a performance worthy of an Oscar. Bale did an amazing job with Batman/Bruce, as he did with the first movie.

And apparently Dark Knight was actually partially filmed with IMAX technology, so seeing it in IMAX will actually make a difference, as opposed to seeing standard 35mm films in an IMAX theater.
