He also told me that the F32 will end production a little earlier in April of 2020, not June. Do you have any information about this?

This halting of production (which I've been expecting for at least the last week) is making me nervous. If the F32 ends in April, I think I'm screwed. If it ends in June, I probably still might get the car, but then again, who knows if they'll even return to making F32s on April 18th, only to end its production 2,5 months later...
You'll be able to buy one off the lot very cheap.

Production of the F82 M4 CS ended last month and end of production of the F82 M4 is scheduled for June 2020. BMW production in Europe and South Africa is now interrupted till 19 April 2020. Depending on the further evolution of the COVID-19 crisis and global economic recession, the production interruption period could be extended, of course (IMHO in a month we will look back to today with the thought that we did not fathom the magnitude of the nightmare awaiting us). If production interruption is extended till the end of June, the F82 M4 production is in principle dusted and done as we speak, except if BMW decides to extend the EOP.

Good news for me. I have a G21 M340 planned for production and might not afford the initial payment until my industry (live events) recovers.

True. And not just the F82 M4, but the F32 4 Series coupe as well.

I strongly doubt that there will be an EOP extension. Instead, I suspect they'll be eager to move on to brand new product in the form of the G22 and G82 - anything to inject some excitement and ignite sales. Of course, these are relatively low volume products so they don't make a huge difference to the bottom line either way, but new product of any sort is a good thing, especially fun, racy performance coupes.

I would bet they will be closed longer than this, but sure hope not. Maybe like on the 5 series they will shift to the LCI model. I was literally ready to order as my 5 series lease is up in June.

All this really does have a trickle down effect. Hang in their everyone and lets be one around the world and beat this thing!

Why would you buy a new m4 in 2020 when a new model is coming in and your value will jump of a cliff the moment you drive off

Rather have last model year than first, especially when the new m4 looks terrible.

I'm in the same boat as you. Ordered the M340i last week and it's been in production since then. Hopefully we get it soon

The G80/G82/G83 market release might also be delayed due to part suppliers. It will take time for the supply chain to produce parts for the G8x. But, initial demand will also be low. Maybe the ED 7% discount returns?

I also need to order a F83 prior to EOP August 2020. Would be interesting if BMWFS extends my current lease at the same payment terms for an other year if F83 production is effected long term, so I slide into a G83 late 2021.

Could be 6/12 months before they reopen based on latest science and then serious lack of demand once this is all over
